ASC New Call to Arts: Mecklenburg County Bryant Park Public Art Opportunity RFQ
The Arts & Science Council (ASC) is seeking qualifications from professional artists and artist teams for a new public art commission at the Mecklenburg County Bryant Park. This opportunity calls for the creation of a distinctive, interactive public art experience at Lover’s Leap, a unique destination located on the west side of the park adjacent to Suttle Avenue. Artists may consider artistic approaches including seating elements, paving treatments, free-standing sculpture, wayfinding elements, or other integrated components that create a cohesive journey and enhance visitors’ sense of arrival. The exact location and spatial parameters of the artwork(s) within the Lover’s Leap area will be determined in collaboration with Mecklenburg County during the design development phase.
